I’m a believer in the power of knowledge and the ferocity of beauty, so from my point of view, your life is already artful—waiting, just waiting, for you to make it art. Toni Morrison

I am a registered clinical counsellor and art therapist with over 30 years of experience. My clients are children, adolescents, and adults from diverse communities who are dealing with a wide range of issues that include:

  • grief and loss; bereavement

  • trauma

  • illness

  • transitions including separation and divorce

  • creativity and self-expression

  • anxiety

  • depression

  • bullying

  • identity issues

As well, I am a mental health provider through the First Nations Health Authority.

The names of the Indigenous peoples who are the guardians of the land on which my space is located are the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. As a settler, I am grateful to work on this land and to continually seek ways to challenge inequalities and oppression where I am, from a place of cultural humility.

“Listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen…” ( On Becoming An Ally, Anne Bishop, 1994)

 covid-19 update

For the duration of this time we find ourselves in, I will be offering sessions via video-conferencing or telephone. If you wish to meet in person, I am happy to do so. This is of course dependent on your own health and mine and that we are both willing to take precautions to ensure that we are keeping ourselves safe from exposure. If one of us becomes ill or believes we have been exposed to the virus, we will inform one another and cancel our appointment. Extra cleaning is being done in my office to high touch surfaces and to any art materials utilized.
